Thanks to the support of the Comité Vendôme, the first Rallye des Princesses is privileged to have the use of one of the most prestigious sites in Paris, the Place Vendôme, as a parc fermé and for its starting line.

The scrutineering of the participating cars will take place on 18 September 2000 at one of the hotels which line the Place Vendôme, from which the Rallye des Princesses will set out on the morning of 19 September.

The change of date has allowed us to secure prestigious new sponsors-DELBARD Roses, CHRISTIAN DIOR Watches, ILIAS LALAOUNIS Jewellery, BIOSCREEN Beauty Products, and LOUIS VUITTON Bags and Luggage-whose participation is described in the following pages.

In addition to the support they will bring to the general organisation of the rally, they will have dream gifts in store for you throughout the event.

As regards the organisation, the staff has been enriched by the addition of Caroline Auriol and Emmanuel de Montaignac, who are in charge of sponsorship and public relations.

In a tip of the hat to the past, Delphine de Rohan-Chabot-Brooks, great-niece of the founder of this female rally between Paris and Saint-Raphaël, has signed up and will indeed be driving car N° 1.

The participants-from France, England, the Netherlands, Germany, and even America-have confirmed their participation and we would like to have around forty crews at the starting line.

Don't forget that the addition of a category reserved for mixed crews gives you another chance to participate, and the spirit of the Rallye des Princesses is preserved because a "Princesse" must take the wheel. The 1^st Classic Rally for Women

has changed its dates

from early Spring to late Summer 2000

The Rallye des Princesses 2000 will now take place

from 18^th to 23^rd September, 2000

on the roads from Paris to Saint Raphaël.

So that the dream can become even greater, so that this epic revival of the Count de Rohan-Chabot's legendary Paris-Saint Raphaël rally, which ran from 1929 to 1974, can make an even greater mark at the turn of the millennium…

The Rallye des Princesses, 1^st Classic Rally for Women, which was initially scheduled to take place from 25^th to 30^th April, 2000, will now take place from 18^th to 23^rd September, 2000. This change of date was the only way to enable all our "Princesses", as well as our partners and sponsors, to grace this mythical event with their presence.

And just as the exceptional nature of the Rallye des Princesses was quick to attract many partners and celebrities, including personalities from the worlds of show business, fashion, media, radio and television, many lady drivers have already signed up… for September 2000.

Not only has there been a change of date… but in order to take into account the numerous requests from couples, and the many requests received at the Rétromobile motor show, the event is now open to mixed crews, although still retaining the original spirit of the Rallye des Princesses, since "Madame" has to take the wheel…

There will be 2 classifications every day:

• One for 100% female crews.
•  
• One for mixed crews.

There is another option open to gentlemen wishing to follow the event: the "Assistance" category allows anyone who so desires to follow the rally in either a classic or more recent car and stay at our charming stopover hotels, without participating in the actual race.

Combining mythical nostalgia with the realisation of a dream, the Rallye des Princesses will bring into the new millennium the charm of a tradition brought back to life. An exceptional itinerary, rich in history and set against a backdrop of beautiful, timeless landscapes, which, for a few days, will witness the passage of beautiful modern-day Princesses at the wheel of their legendary automobiles…

Together, these ingredients form the dream of the 1^st Rallye des Princesses, vintage 2000, from 18^th to 23^rd September, and of Patrick Zaniroli, its organiser, whose revival of one of the most mythical automobile races allows him to combine his passion for classic cars and his experience as a rally organiser. And so the road from Paris to Saint Raphaël will once again be taken by a cortege of Princesses in their legendary cars, whose beauty and elegance will never fade in time.
