The absence of a stamp or failure to hand in the time card at a passage or time control will incur a penalty of 60 points. Unless approved by the steward in charge, any alteration or amendment of the time card may result in exclusion.

Article 15 : Start
Art. 15.1 : The ideal starting time will be indicated on each crew's time card. Any delay by a crew in presenting itself for the start of the event or of a stage, through its own fault, will incur a penalty of 1 point per minute (maxi : 30 points). For a delay of more than 30 minutes, crews may be refused the right to start.Art. 15.2 : The route followed in this event will be divided into 3 stages, each of them split into several different types of section :
. Liaison section
Section of the route between two controls or simple regrouping locations, subject to no regularity control. The time set to cover them will take into account any possible traffic difficulties to encourage competitors to drive with care.
Art. 15.3 : Regularity section
Section of route between two time controls to be covered in a set amount of time corresponding to an average of up to 50 km/h. Minimum Regularity Section is 2 km.
The ideal time for covering the distance between two time controls will be indicated on the time card or will be calculated by the crews using the ideal average indicated on the time card.
There will be a minimum of 6 regularity trials per day.
Article 16 : General provisions regarding controls
. Time and passage controls will be indicated by standardised signs:. The beginning of the control area will be indicated by a yellow warning sign. The location of the checkpoint will be indicated by a red sign at a distance of approximately 25 metres.
Between the area entry sign and the checkpoint, competitors are not allowed to stop for any reason whatsoever or to drive at an abnormally slow speed.
Competitors are not allowed to enter a control area from a direction other than that indicated on the scheduled route. Doing so incurs a penalty identical to that of missing a control (i.e., 60 points).
Crews must follow the instructions of any race steward in charge of any checkpoint, at the risk of incurring a penalty up to and including exclusion.
Competitors must not stop in the control area for more than the time necessary for control operations.
The checkpoints will open 15 minutes before the ideal time of passage of the first crew and will close 30 minutes after the ideal time of passage of the last crew.
. The finish line and any intermediate time checks on the regularity test sections are not indicated.
Article 17 : Passage controls CP - Time controles CH
A) Passage controls - CPPassage controls are open controls whose purpose is to check that the crews are following the scheduled route.
The race steward at these controls will merely stamp the time card when it is presented to him, without indicating the time of passage.
B) Time control - CH
Time controls are open controls marking the limits of a regularity section. Their purpose is to check that crews respect the average imposed in the regularity section.
At time controls, the race steward in charge notes the time of presentation of the car (hour and minute) and records this time of presentation, and this alone, on the crews time card (the time of presentation corresponds to the exact moment when one of the crew members presents the time card to the race steward).
This time of presentation is compared to the ideal time of presentation calculated on the basis of compliance with the average imposed on the regularity section (the ideal time of presentation is obtained by adding the time granted for covering the regularity section to the starting time for this section).
The hours, minutes and seconds will always be indicated from 00:01 to 24:00, only whole minutes being taken into account. (Official time during the entire event will be that of the French telephone time service [phone 3699]).
Crews will incur no penalty if the time of presentation is during the course of the ideal minute of presentation.
For example: A crew that must arrive at a control at 18 h 58 min will be considered to be on time if it presents itself between18 h 58 min 00 s and 18 h 58 min 59 s.
Each minute's difference with respect to the ideal time of presentation will give rise to penalties in points, earliness being penalised twice as much as lateness. The following schedule of penalties will be applied:
per minute early: 2 points with a maximum 60 points
per minute late: 1 point with a maximum of 30 points.
At the end-of-stage time controls and at lunchtime,:
crews will be allowed to check in early without incurring penalties.
Security : During these inspections, each day, participants will be allowed to be up to 30 minutes late without being penalized, (getting gas, busy traffic) in order to avoid taking unnecessary risks on the open road..
Radars : Radars will be placed throughout the course in order to guarantee that the highway code is obeyed. The first offence will be sanctioned with a 100 fine, the second with a 200 fine and if there is a third offence, the team is disqualified. The entirety of penalties will be transferred, with the agreement of FFSA, to the advantage of the Association Children supported by Princesses' rally. They will be owed in the evening of violation by check or in cash.
In the event of two successive regularity sections, the time of presentation recorded on the time card will constitute both the arrival time for the end of the first regularity section. The start time of the both sections will be the same. On the same principle, more than two regularity sections may take place in succession.
To be at the general final classifications, the car will be checked at the last CH, in crossing it by their own means.
Article 18 : Regrouping controls : Nothingness
Article 19 : Regularity controls - CR
One or more regularity controls may be carried out at any point on the regularity sections.Regularity controls are secret controls carried out in regularity sections between two time controls. Their purpose is to check that the crews respect the average imposed for the regularity section and that they are following the route.
At these regularity controls, the race steward notes the time of passage of the competitors to the second.
This time of passage is compared to the ideal time of passage calculated on the basis of compliance with the average imposed on the regularity section. Each second's difference with respect to the ideal time of passage gives rise to a penalty in points, earliness being penalised twice as much as lateness.
The following schedule of penalties will be applied:
per second early: 2 points.
per second late: 1 point.
The CR checkpoints will be kept secret and will not necessarily correspond to a box in the road book, their purpose being to ensure ongoing respect of the average.
There may be 2 successive regularity control (CR) checkpoints for one single departure.
CUMPULSORY AVERAGE SPEEDS DURING THE REGULARITY TESTS :
Highlighting the oldest automobiles, with allowances made so that everyone actually has the chance to win.
The averages will be determined by the category of age of your vehicle.
This system, which seems fairer to us, will operate by three categories as follows.
- Pre-war vehicles, up until 1945 : 40 km/h;
- Vehicles dating from 1946 et 1959 : 45 km/h
- Vehicles dating from 1960 et 1980 : 50 km/h.
During a regularity test, in case of a village crossing, the average will fall at 30 km/h for security.
Article 20 : Parc fermé
The cars are subjet to « Parc Fermé » rules from the moment they enter a control area (yellow sign) until they leave it (end of control sign).Only in the case of a flat tyre may the crew concerned be allocated a maximum of 5 minutes extra to change the tyre in the control area.
While the vehicles are subject to « Parc Fermé rules, any intervention on the car (repair, servicing, refuelling, etc.) is strictly forbidden.
