The Regularity

One formula for everyone
The key aspect of Regularity is not to focus on speed but rather on maintaining a given average which is generally slow enough to emphasize the team’s abilities as opposed to the car’s performance standards.

This way, during each test of the rally, excluding the connecting section, “Regularity sections” will be set up wherein participants will need to maintain a very precise average speed (generally less than 50 km/h).

Obviously, the challenge lies in the team’s ability to control their average speed to the second, since they will not know the exact distance to be covered, the destination remaining a secret, and the course’s difficulty demanding utmost caution.

Naturally, these sections will only be navigated with the help of a road-book and a compass…!
