How to prepare?

Nearest serial

What kind of preparation do the vehicles need?

Quads

Prep work on the chassis / suspension / transmission is open, only the engine must strictly remain the original.

Historic and Classics Cars

Prep work is also open but must remain within the spirit of the vehicle’s era and what was done at that time.

Recents cars

All the mechanical aspects must remain in strict keeping with the series’ outfitting, only reinforcements and modifications of the suspension systems will be authorised.

Truck

Prep work is completely open.

All vehicles

Except Raid and Assistance: the only safety requirements are hoops, harnesses, and helmets.

All categories

Must have 600 kilometres of autonomy (300 km for Quads).

Groups

No federal approvals are needed. For more details, see the 2006 technical regulations posted on our website.

Remember 2006

For groups 1 & 2

Preparation depends on your own preferences on the condition that the vehicle remain in keeping with the spirit and style of what was traditionally done in the car’s original era, each modification will be subject to the approval of a very precise technical report.

For groups 3 & 4

The vehicles must be strictly standard series in terms of their technical aspects, tubular prototype frames and buggies are forbidden. Only doubled-up shock absorbers and reinforced frames will be accepted.

For all cars

The only requirements for all cars are safety hoops, harnesses, and helmets (bucket seats are strongly recommended).

The preferred distance

To be kept is 600 km and the vehicles should use fuel provided by the local towns’ service stations along the way (basic petrol or diesel fuel).
