A man by your side!
Most of the women who are competing in the Princesses’ Rally team up with their best girlfriend, sister, mother, or mother-in-law but for some couples this is a unique opportunity to live their passion for classic cars and make one of their shared dreams come true – together!Although men are not allowed to touch the wheel during this distinctly feminine event, we do permit them to join in the fun as co-pilots for their favourite ladies, guiding the way with the road-book and stop watch in hand. We have therefore designated a category for mixed-crews. The gentlemen who join in this ladies’ challenge will particularly enjoy the evening rest stops when we all get to relax and recharge. They can take advantage of the time to give a polish shine to the dream machine and dabble in a little precision tune-up while Madame puts her feet up for a while…
Mechanics – just for you!
Some teams who’ll be competing with particularly old, somewhat fragile models might be concerned about potential technical difficulties and/or eventual break-downs on the road. They can rest assured! Every year, the Princesses’ Rally organisers bring along two teams of professional mechanics who offer road-side assistance (for on-site repairs and/or towing to the next scheduled rest stop, if necessary). Back at the hotel (even if it takes all night) the technicians will do whatever’s needed to make sure your car’s fresh and ready to embark on the next leg of the rally first thing in the morning. Now that’s reassuring, isn’t it?!
