The Course 2008

The rally’s course will be designed, as in the past, like a shamrock, in three loops around Aix-les-Bains.

The routes have been laid out to ensure optimal snow with all of the regularity sectors held at altitudes of over 1,000 meters.

For our loyal, annual participants, please note that this year’s event will be more condensed, with fewer connecting legs in and out of Aix-les-Bains.

The first day, competitors will slug it out on the Bauges, Belledonne, and Oisans mountains, with a magnificent climax: the Alpe d’Huez circuit at 1,800 meters.

The second day’s loop will be the traditional, but oh so breathtaking route across Vercors, with a climb up the Echarasson and Menée passes and a regularity sector held on the famous Lans circuit in Vercors.

The third and final day’s loop will be tighter, zipping along the tiny roads around the Lac du Bourget, thanks to the inside support from the local government authorities who have agreed to open certain mountain passes just for us!

The stage is set. Everything has been arranged for optimal snow and incomparable excitement. Now it’s up to you, the stars of the show, to deliver a fabulous performance for this 54th edition of this incomparable event!
