Renforçant ses actions en Mauritanie, SOS SAHEL s'est fixée comme objectif pour 2007 d'équiper 13 dispensaires de brousse, dans le sud du pays, de Tidjikja à Dara. Les communes à équiper sont : Tentemtel, Dara, Keurmassène, N'Gora, Boers Tores, Taguilalet, Charatt et El Khatt.  L'itinéraire de la TransAfricaine traversant ces régions, nous nous sommes fixés l'objectif de les aider à réaliser ces équipements. Les besoins pour chaque poste médical portent sur : - 1 table d'accouchement - 1 trousse d'accouchement - 1 trousse de petite chirurgie - 1 frigidaire à gaz - 1 Stéthoscope - 1 thermomètre - 1 armoire - Des blouses - Des matelas - 1 boîte de consultation - 1 pèse bébé - 1 balance adulte - 1 table de bureau - 6 chaises - 1 tensiomètre - 1 marche à pied - 1 réchaud à gaz à trois feux - 1 couveuse L'achat de ces équipements revient à 10 000 € pour un poste complet, alors... à vous de jouer... La collecte des équipements distribués à SOS SAHEL sont gérés par notre association: TransAfricaine Amitié Afrique - en numéraire (Dons à l'ordre de l'association TransAfricaine Amitie Afrique, homologuer  pour les déductions fiscales) - en matériel (tout ou partie de la liste en bon état...) Plus précisément dans l’école Elkababa à village d’Akka. L’institutrice Nadia Mairik, responsable d’une petite école où les classes de 1ère jusqu’à la 6e sont regroupées en deux classes, a reçu des livres scolaires de mathématiques, grammaire et français.
